With Jay Cutler (hamstring) active for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Clausen will move back to a backup role, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cutler's hamstring injury was initially expected to sideline him for multiple games, but he only ended up missing last week's 26-0 loss against the Seahawks. Clausen earned the starting nod for that game and looked completely inept guiding the offense, finishing 9-for-17 with 63 passing yards on the afternoon. Despite that horrid performance, Clausen still ranks above David Fales on the Bears' quarterback depth chart, but he's not in line to see the field again unless Cutler suffers another injury setback.
