The touchdown return was window dressing on an otherwise ineffectual performance for Williams, who averaged a meager 20.7 yards on the nine other kickoffs he fielded. In addition, Williams' first foray into Chicago's offensive game plan proved to be a disaster, as he was dropped for an eight-yard loss on an attempted reverse.
