Wilfork was on the field for 22-of-52 of the Patriots' defensive snaps in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers, ESPN.com reports. While Wilfork recorded just one tackle in the game, both ESPN and the Boston Herald suggest that Wilfork seems past his Achilles' woes at this stage. While the veteran DT is only an IDP factor in deeper formats, his return to the the Patriots' defensive front line should represent a big boost to the team's overall defense, in particular against the run.
