The second highest rated quarterback last season was Aaron Rodgers per Fleaflicker.com. In fact, Rodgers' average draft position was fourth. Thus far, Rodgers' owners have been let down as their first round pick is ranked only 22nd among quarterbacks through three weeks. To make matters worse, Rodgers and his Packers suffered one of their most disappointing losses to date. In arguably the most controversial game-ending play in NFL history, the Green Bay Packers were under the impression that their defense successfully defended the Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson's Hail Mary pass into the end zone as the game clock expired.
Although it appeared Green Bay had intercepted this deep bomb, the referees reviewed the catch and confirmed that Seattle's Golden Tate held possession, which resulted in a game-winning touchdown for Seattle. Fans across the globe were shocked at this decision and expressed their feelings via social networks, message boards and thousands of messages to the NFL Commissioner's office resenting the decision made by the replacement referees. Although this play did not affect the slow start of Aaron Rodgers, it certainly was a damaging blow to him and the Packers as they suffered their second defeat in a row. They now sit behind the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings in the ultra competitive NFC North division.
QB Matt Schaub- After last season, many owners hesitated in drafting Matt Schaub due to his injury history and Houston's run-focused offense led by Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Schaub is coming off a performance where he threw four touchdowns in Week 3 and faces the Tennessee Titans this weekend, who allow the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Schaub has thrown at least two touchdowns against Tennessee in five straight games, which bodes well for his performance this weekend.
Week 4 Forecast: 250 passing yards, 2 TD
RB Cedric Benson- Benson worked his way up Green Bay's running back depth chart after being acquired in the offseason. Thus far, his numbers have been sub-par. In his defense, Benson has encountered San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle, which are all very difficult to run against. In Week 4, Benson will face the New Orleans' Saints who were just completely trampled by Kansas City's Jamaal Charles. Although Benson does not have the explosive potential of Charles, he should still have a solid game.
Week 4 Forecast: 110 total yards, TD
WR Vincent Jackson- Tampa Bay's new addition will not earn the same numbers that he posted in San Diego with Philip Rivers airing it out. However, Jackson has received almost double the targets as Mike Williams during his tenure in Tampa Bar. V-Jax should post solid numbers against the Washington Redskins who allow the most points to wide receivers with an average of 255 receiving yards per game.
Week 4 Forecast: 100 receiving yards, TD
TE Kyle Rudolph- Christian Ponder and the Minnesota Vikings have been a pleasant surprise this season. They tee off against divisional foe, the Detroit Lions, this Sunday. Rudolph was not a highly ranked tight end on most draft boards, but is now raising eyebrows. He has three touchdowns in the last two games and has been a key red zone target for Ponder. Detroit allows the second most points to opposing tight ends so look for Rudolph to reel in another score.
Week 4 Forecast: 60 receiving yards, TD
DST New York Giants- Michael Vick has more turnovers than any other quarterback this season. Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles have struggled out of the gate and have only totaled 47 points in three games. Although they rank eleventh among defenses this year, the New York Giants defense should step up their performance against the turnover prone Philadelphia Eagles. Look for New York to pressure Vick and take an early lead in this NFC East battle.

"In arguably the most controversial game-ending play in NFL history." Oh come on, I would not go as far as saying this could be one of the most controversial game enders. This was week 3, there were many other calls that were worse and were made in the playoffs, the immaculate reception that sent the Steelers to the SB, the Brady tuck rule, the extra down, etc. While it will be argued if it was a bad call or not, I can see both sides of the argument such as possession ends on the ground etc. I would have to lean toward an INT. But I will say that GB defender Jennings should be happy they are blaming the refs, if I was the coach I would be reaming him a new one. They practice what to do on hail Mary plays, Jennings should have never tried to catch that ball, it was meaningless. where he was standing with his back to the back of the end zone and as replayed showed he was the first to have not one but both hands on the incoming ball, had he just flipped his wrists the ball would have went over his head and out the back of the end zone..GAME OVER! He had control of that play, perfect position, first to touch the ball, his decision to try for a pointless INT was wrong and it cost them the game.
As a bears fan I am happy to see the pack @ 1 and 2. I am not howevere happy how they got there. They were robbed. Point blank. This makes for bad football. The replacement refs are out of their depth and the nfl should remidy this prob. A.s.a.p. While seahawks fans are tickled pink the rest of us should know this kind of misshap could very well happen to any one of our teams. Hopefully soon the nfl and real refs come to an agreement to maintain the integraty of the rest of the season! Soghning out~ Triples Money
