Wally's World - Week 11 fantasysharks.com Mon 11/10/14 6:45 AM

I would like to take a minute to thank the Green Bay Packersand Chicago Bears for engaging in such a titanic beatdown that I was able tostart this article extra early. When Matt Flynn entersthe game my lap top flips open. Another week nearly in the books and another six-touchdownperformance is put on the board. Tell me again how the NFL hasn't skewed the gametotally in the favor of quarterbacks? Oh yeah...this article is brought to you mainly by the healing(or at least the getting me out of bed) powers of Thera-Flu. Here are somethings that stood out this week through my sneezing, coughing and bleary eyes... Terrance West looksto have firmly grabbed the lead back role in Cleveland. Unfortunately, histeammates sharked those two touchdowns and will likely continue to eat into hisnumbers. I'm going to say it. AndyDalton played like a man who arrived at the game fresh from ‘Happy Hour' atthe local watering hole. That was as bad a game from a quarterback that I canremember and I am a long-time Lions' fan (so I know bad quarterback play...trustme). Just like that we love GiovaniBernard again. The Jeremy Hill bandwagonhas officially blown a tire. Even though the ClevelandD/ST has been a top-10 unit the last few weeks, I will go out on a limb(albeit a very small one) and say RyanMallett finishes with better numbers against them than Dalton had. I'm a prediction daredevil, eh? The Detroit Lions offenseseems to take long breaks during games but the combination of a healthy Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate are going to eat up a lot of secondaries movingforward. If only StevenJackson could play against the Buccaneers every week. Sadly, he can't andchasing his good week will only bring fantasy owners heartbreak. The shine has certainly come off Terrance Williams in Dallas. Yes, that was a goose egg he just putup against the Jaguars on Sunday. Call me crazy, but the 49ers offense just looks a lot betterwhen they actually give the ball to FrankGore. Forget all that ‘keeping him fresh for the playoffs' junkbecause if they don't keep winning there won't be any playoffs to be fresh for. I liked the way DamienWilliams ran and caught the ball for Miami this week. He's the guy Ihandcuff to Lamar Miller as Daniel Thomas is...well, Daniel Thomas. All the fantasy owners riding Ronnie Hillman the past few weeks are suddenly very nervous. And they should be. It's going to be a three-headed monster heading forward with Montee Ball due to return as C.J. Anderson threw his hat into thering with Sunday's performance. It appears the Cardinals will have to go the rest of the waywith Drew Stanton heading theoffense. He'll steal a win here or there but won't be the weapon Carson Palmer is for fantasy purposes. OK, so BenRoethlisberger is Super Man athome and Clark Kent on the road. Not just any old Clark Kent, either. The Clark Kent that gotsmacked around that Diner in "Super Man 2." "Beast Mode" is alive and well my friends. Marshawn Lynch ownersshould be very excited as the Seahawks are returning to the formula that workedlast year...finally. I seem to remember the Marc Trestman offense looking a bitdifferent last year. By ‘different' I mean not the pathetic wreck it is now. That performance by the Bears is going to cost people theirjobs. By ‘people' I mean Marc Trestman. You didn't really expect the Raiders to keep it close withDenver did you? Mychal Rivera continuesto be red hot for the Raiders but does have a touch matchup next week againstSan Diego. Are we over the AustinDavis could be the quarterback of the future for the Rams hype yet? We should be because he can't. That John Brown kidin Arizona is fun to watch. He extends and makes big catches as well as anyrookie receiver that I can recall in recent years. Speaking of great catches, you have to tip your hat to theinterception that Brent Grimes hadtoday. He showed ‘big ups' and brought it in one-handed.... kudos young man. Looks to me like the Packers have solved their middlelinebacker dilemma at long last. The Clay Matthews moveto the middle is going to pay off huge for his IDP owners. If he's on yourwaiver wire, go get him. Seriously, do it now and I'll wait... Speaking of linebackers. Anthony Hitchens has settled in nicely for the Cowboys over thepast couple of weeks. I guess it's time to stop waiting for Justin Forsett to turn into a pumpkin. He's a solid weekly start as the lead dog in the Baltimore backfield. I can't wait to see what Mike Evans in Tampa Bay is capable of doing with a realquarterback. He's going to be a scary-good fantasy option for years to come. It's nice to see TonyRomo come out of the game with nothing more than the usual bumps andbruises. I still wouldn't have played him but his fantasy owners arecertainly happy that Dallas did. On the flip side of that is seeing Brandon Marshall injure his ankle late in that Sunday night fiasco. He was one of the only players that showed up for the Bears. Anybody else get the feeling that something is wrong with Drew Brees? He just doesn't look right. I'm not saying that I'm getting on the Bishop Sankey bandwagon, but I am at least checking out the busschedule to see where it's heading next. He showed some life this week againstBaltimore. You have to love the way rookie LB Chris Borland has filled in for the 49ers with Patrick Willis and NavorroBowman out. The smart money says they they find a way to keep the kid onthe field even when the dynamic duo returns. Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil are heating up sack-wise for the Ravens and their IDPowners. They will make life miserable for division rivals down the stretch. I don't know why the Steelers waited so long to get Martavis Bryant involved in theoffense. The kid is flat out electrifying. Someone should have told Odell Beckham Jr. that the Seahawks shut down opposing widereceivers because he apparently missed the memo. He is another rookie wide receiver with a huge fantasyfuture.
