Our top section stays in hibernation this week. Nothing "Smokin' Hot," but there's plenty in the other categories worth taking a look at. Even this late in the season, there are still players available that are going to be fantasy contributors. Take a hard look at your last roster spot and be willing to mix it up a bit and grab something new and cut the old. If nothing else, it will keep another owner from grabbing a player that they may need for their starting lineup. We continue to be high on several players that we've previously mentioned, and if they are still available in your league then grab them above all else on this list. Running backs Shane Vereen (New England), Donald Brown (Indianapolis) and Montee Ball (Denver) are owned in a majority of leagues, but not all. Wide receivers Jarrett Boykin (Green Bay), Aaron Dobson (New England) and Rishard Matthews (Miami) are also owned in most leagues, but not all. John Carlson (Minnesota) is a tight end in this category as well. These guys can be plugged in to cover a bye week or injury and are immediate fantasy contributors. We've got plenty of others to talk about. There's something for everyone in this week's wonders! Solid Pickups RB Chris Rainey, Tampa Bay We had Rainey listed as a deep pickup last week, as the Tampa Bay running back situation was up for grabs between he and Brian Leonard. More than 160 yards in total offense and three touchdowns later, Rainey announced his desire to be the top back for Tampa Bay. He clearly has the hot hand, and with Detroit on tap, Rainey is in line to be the top waiver wire pickup this week. RB Chris Ogbonnaya, Cleveland The Cleveland Browns have been shifting the majority of the work in the direction of Ogbonnaya, and he has not disappointed. Against Cincinnati, he was good for 99 yards in total offense, more importantly, he played the majority of the snaps for Cleveland. With only Willis McGahee and Fozzy Whittaker as his competition, look for Ogbonnaya to become more of a workhorse for the Browns. WR Rod Streater, Oakland Matt McGloin was a spark for the Oakland offense, with Streater one of the beneficiaries. Six catches for 84 yards and a touchdown against Houston gets him a mention here with the hope that these numbers can continue. Oakland has favorable passing matchups on the upcoming schedule, and Streater is worth owning in all formats. TE Delanie Walker, Tennessee Walker has been quiet of late, but he has clearly made a connection with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ten catches for 91 yards and a touchdown against Indianapolis in last week's Thursday night matchup gets him a prominent spot in this week's countdown. The Titans are an offense that traditionally uses the tight end very heavily. Look for Walker to be a low end TE1 going forward. On the Radar RB Brian Leonard, Tampa Bay Leonard returns to the same category as last week, with Round 1 in his battle for supremacy with Chris Rainey clearly going to Rainey. We expect Tampa Bay to ride Rainey, but Leonard will continue to be the change-of-pace back and will be waiting in the wings should he falter. This is a situation that could turn quickly, so Leonard is worth owning in all formats. WR Nate Burleson, Detroit Reports are that Burleson is on track to return from injury this week, and what a welcome addition he will be to the Detroit passing attack. Kris Durham and Kevin Ogletree have not been able to be the guy opposite Calvin Johnson, so look for Burleson to step right back into the starting lineup and be productive right away. On the Radar (con't) TE Garrett Graham, Houston The replacement for Owen Daniels has struggled all season, until this past week. Seven catches for 136 yards and a touchdown against Oakland gets him a mention in this space and is worth a look for those in need at the position. These numbers are not to be expected every week, but given the injuries to the top tight ends in the league, Graham is a reasonable alternative. WR Santonio Holmes, New York Jets Bouncing back from injury, Holmes seems to be fully recovered. We would have him listed higher on this list, but we have serious concerns about the Jets passing game and Geno Smith. After an absolute howler against Buffalo, we are taking a wait-and-see approach here. As a healthy and skilled wide receiver, Holmes is worth a spot at the bottom of the roster for those in need at the position. RB Daniel Thomas, Miami Much like the situation in Tampa Bay, Miami has been taking a hot hand approach to its starting running back. Thomas got more involved than Lamar Millier this past week, so we have him on the radar. The Miami running game is not worth getting too excited over, but those desperate at the position can look to Thomas as a grab and hold to see if he can establish himself as the go-to guy for the Dolphins. Deep and/or Dynasty Only WR Marquise Goodwin, Buffalo The rookie has been stepping it up of late; if only Buffalo would create some room for him in the starting lineup so that he can really blossom. Six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown, plus a running play, are indications that the Bills like what they see in the rookie. With a bye week upcoming for Buffalo; only those in deep leagues need apply here. TE Ladarius Green, San Diego Playing behind Antonio Gates there is not a lot of action left for Green. He had four catches for 81 yards against Miami this past week, but these are numbers not likely to be attained again anytime soon. We very much like his prospects as a dynasty player as he's worth owning in those formats.
