Curry (illness) was waived off the reserve/non-football injury list by the Jets on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Curry underwent surgery to remove his spleen in July and developed blood clots after the surgery. He was ruled out for the 2021 season on Aug. 25. Though expected to make a full recovery and return to the field in 2022, the nine-year veteran may be doing so for a team other than the Jets.
