Coleman missed 2019 with an ankle injury then opted out of the 2020 campaign. He suffered a triceps injury in training camp with the 49ers and was placed on IR. He ultimately reached an injury settlement with them, and he was let go. Now presumably healthy, Coleman will try to earn a shot with the Bears, who currently have Jason Peters dealing with an ankle injury, and Larry Borom on the reserve/COVID-19 list at the offensive tackle position.
