Wright didn't participate in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Wright was carted off the field at one point during the Week 8 loss to the 49ers, but the training staff ultimately cleared him to return to the contest. The fact he was able to play through the injury is a positive sign, but he'll need to get on the practice field either Thursday or Friday to have a chance at playing Sunday against the Titans. If he's able to shed the injury, Wright could be in store for an increased role on offense fellow wideout Curtis Samuel (shoulder) also missed Wednesday's practice.
