Gallup underwent an MRI on Monday that confirmed he suffered a clean ACL tear in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Gallup will miss the remainder of the season as a result of his injury, but he's expected to make a full recovery. The 25-year-old appeared in eight games for the Cowboys during the 2021 campaign and secured 35 of 62 targets for 445 yards and two touchdowns. Gallup is slated to become a free agent during the offseason after spending his first four professional seasons in Dallas.
