Tony Gonzalez caught eight passes for 63 yards and one touchdown in Atlanta's Week 16 loss to the 49ers on Monday night.
Gonzalez was targeted on 11 of Matt Ryan's 48 passes, finishing second on the team to Roddy White (15). The 37-year-old did his usual damage over the middle near the first-down marker and in the red zone. Gonzalez's touchdown came on a broken play where Ryan rolled out and found his tight end in the middle of the end zone for a two-yard score. Gonzalez will end his career next week against the Panthers. He's been a mid-range TE1 all year long.
I can't help but to think that with this being Tonys last game to play in the NFL, and the falcons season is already over, that somehow he will get special treatment and be Matt Ryan's main target! Any thoughts?

He just made me win in my league. This guy is awesome. Too bad it's his final year. Wish him the best of luck during retirement.

Really don't know. Was just glad even though the season was over a while ago he still stuck it out with his team and performed at a high level.
