Titans CEO Tommy Smith said he's "absolutely" in support of Jake Locker. "He's the quarterback," Smith added. Smith did say, however, when addressing Chris Johnson's status that he's not going to have much input on personnel decisions and wants the football people -- GM Ruston Webster and coach Ken Whisenhunt -- to make those calls. Locker is far from a lock to open the season as Tennessee's starter, but he'll likely enter camp as the favorite.

Rotoworld is noticeably negative on Locker - and I have no idea why. Guy certainly hasn't lit the world on fire, but he came out of the gates guns blazing in '13 before he had the two nasty injuries. Certainly not enough to affirm that Locker is a franchise QB-caliber player (and I don't think he'll ever be that), but he certainly has the potential to be an asset, at least in my opinion.

Yeah they get down on someone and it's all over, but I thought he showed him promise for sure during the early run before the injury.
