The Texans are projecting sixth-round pick Chris Jones as an undersized nose tackle in their 3-4 defense. Jones stands under 6-foot-2 and only weighs 302, but displays active hands and quickness off the snap to get leverage. Texans writer Lance Zierlein compares Jones' non-stop motor to Earl Mitchell's, who is Houston's current starting nose tackle. A highly productive interior penetrator in the MAC, Jones could contribute in sub-packages as a rookie and develop into more down the line.
