The Redskins will not ask ILB London Fletcher to restructure his contract. Fletcher is owed $5.5 million in real money for 2013 and will count $6.2 million against the cap. It's a lot to pay for a 38-year-old that graded out 51st among 53 qualifying inside linebackers last season according to Pro Football Focus, but Fletcher's value stretches deeper. He's the quintessential team leader and defensive coordinator on the field for the Redskins.

thats some respect coming from the cash strapped skins. you can grade the old fart anyway you want but he is still productive and scored some picks as well. saying he is the team leader and on feild coordinator is an understatement. he will be missed when age catches up to him.

Waste. He will never make the hof because his teams have always been trash. keep your pennies, we like Lombardi trophies down here!

he won the super bowl in st. Luis... go do your research before showing your ignorance. this thread is not about the HoF but about respect for a great player. it looks like it will be a long, long time before you guys ever sniff a playoff win again so keep those old trophies dusted and enjoy living in the past.
