The player rep for free agent QB Seneca Wallace now insists his client is not retiring. Coach Jim Harbaugh had been informed otherwise, before the 49ers cut Wallace on Thursday. "My understanding is that Seneca will continue his football career but that there was a discussion about his situation particularly with the 49ers," said agent Don Yee. Wallace turned 33 earlier this month.
