The Patriots will reportedly sign FB Lousaka Polite. Donald Thomas, who had been playing fullback in some packages, will be needed at guard with Logan Mankins (MCL sprain) out for the season finale. The Pats don't use a lead-blocker on most plays, so Polite's role will be limited.
