The Panthers will start Quintin Mikell at strong safety in Week 1. It's a nice IDP matchup for Mikell against the run-heavy Seahawks; Mikell is a "box" safety and could flirt with double-digit tackles. He's getting the nod over Mike Mitchell, who is listed as doubtful with a strained calf.
