The Jets are expected to re-sign OLB Bryan Thomas. Thomas is already guaranteed his base salary, so his release was largely a procedural move. The Jets only had four active corners with Ellis Lankster (lower back) questionable for Sunday's game. Barring something unforseen, Thomas will be back early next week.
