The Houston Texans are the only team who through three weeks has passed on fewer than 50 percent of its offensive plays.
The Texans tied for the league lead with Tim Tebow's read-option Broncos in rushing attempts last year, and they're picking up right where they left off. Houston is averaging 39.0 carries per game, while the Redskins are a relatively distant second at 35.3. While this is good news for NFL workload leader Arian Foster, it's a reminder that Matt Schaub remains entrenched as a QB2.
Schaub has pretty decent #'s against tenn. I'm gonna say he sticks with his avg. which is just under 300 yds and 2 tds. Look what shaun hill did to them last week.
I think I like Schaub better because of the matchup, but its a tough call. Romo is just really good. I think he's the better QB, but CHI defense is good and could get to him. With Schaub you know you'll always get a decent game because his line is good, he has two great RBs, so he makes few mistakes since he's not often pressured. Romo may face some serious pressure, so go with schaub this week.
Matt Schaub is the 12 th best QB in my 16 team leagues making him a QB1.
What leagues is Schaub entrenched as a QB2? Are these guys still using 10 team leagues for their player rankings. I only play in pretty deep leagues, but I still pretty much thought that 12 teams was the new average, so Schaub would still be the last QB1 in my leagues.
Well, last week's game was an outlier. Hes not going to throw for 4 TDs very often, and some other guys, like Rodgers, havent hit their stride yet, so his rank right now is higher than it likely will be by the end of the season.
Agreed. I just get so tired of these fantasy reporter clowns giving a guy a specific ranking such as QB1 or QB2. This is all subject to change with the size of each league and how each league is scored. I would be much happier with something that everyone could use like, maybe saying Schaub is entrenched as a top 10-15 QB in the NFL. The whole Position1,2,3 ranking system needs to be done away with until every league in the world is set up exactly the same (which will obviously never happen). It is completely useless to most fantasy team owners.
actually kind of like it, but youre right it is subjective. I find it useful for me, because sometimes it helps put a player in perspective for me, but I imagine for others, who arent quite as experienced, it might be more a hindrance than a help
