The Florida Times Union reports that there is a "significant gap" in contract aspirations between the Jaguars and free agent Josh Scobee. The Jags can franchise tag Scobee if talks fall through, so they have the most leverage. Though both sides agree that staying in Jacksonville is Scobee's best option, he may be angling to become the NFL's highest paid kicker.
