The contract indicates that Mauga will start at inside linebacker next to Derrick Johnson, who missed nearly the entire 2014 season after suffering a torn Achilles in Week 1. While Johnson is the player for IDP owners to target, Mauga did manage 103 tackles (82 solo) over 16 games in 2014, albeit with minimal secondary statistics.
