The 49ers haven't ruled Brandon Jacobs (knee) out for Week 1. "It's possible," coach Jim Harbaugh said. Jacobs was using crutches to get around at Monday's practice, but said he was "doing all right." With a healthy Frank Gore and an abundance of backfield depth, the 49ers don't have to rush Jacobs back. The odds are probably less than 50-50 he suits up for Week 1.
