The 32 player representatives of the NFL Players Association are slated to take a vote Tuesday on an agreement that could modify the sport's drug policies and potentially affect Gordon's current suspension, ESPN.com reports. The report notes that the league's latest proposal would call for human growth hormone testing for the first time, in addition to implementing changes that would raise current limits for marijuana testing. The report further relays that the two sides still have some differences on certain proposed issues, however, adding that one sticking point is apparently concerns put forth by some owners regarding the potential reinstatement of recently suspended players such as Gordon and Denver's Wes Welker, who the report suggests would not have faced suspension under the proposed revised policy. While the situation remains fluid, there does appear to be movement toward a resolution that could finally clarify Gordon's 2014 playing status.

probably have to wait before they actually start the testing so it can clear from players systems or they'll have to suspend half the league!

I always thought that this suspension was kinda BS - However I have a hard time with how the NFL has handled this - it seems like the fix was in on this - now they can wash their hands and say "well it's the players union that did this"

NFL needs to quit punishing players using performance dehancing drugs and focus on performance enhancing ones like HGH....let em smoke pot and drink alittle, just gettin all Barry Bonds/Mark McGuire should be stopped. Honestly I cannot believe that they dont test for HGH yet.

Trust me if they are going to test for HGH that means the players have a new PED. The the league has no clue about.
