Tate caught 11 of 12 targets for 79 yards and the game-winning touchdown Sunday during the Lions' 22-16 victory over the Vikings. He also carried the ball once for one yard.
EDGE Analysis
With Eric Kendricks (concussion) sidelined, the Lions attacked the middle of the Vikings' defense Sunday as Tate and TE Eric Ebron accounted for over half of Matthew Stafford's 36 pass attempts. The third-highest target leader, Marvin Jones, only received five. It was an impressive showing for Tate, considering the strength of his opponent, but it should be noted the bulk of his fantasy production came on a 29-yard, acrobatic score in overtime. Otherwise, Tate only logged 50 receiving yards on an underwhelming 5.0 yards per reception. The Lions are on bye in Week 10, so Tate will have to wait a week before attempting an encore.
