Taylor caught two of five targets for 27 yards in the Titans' second preseason contest against the Patriots on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor was targeted on a few occasions by backup quarterback Ryan Tannehill but made his biggest impact after halftime with Logan Woodside under center, hauling in a 19-yard reception. Though he was inefficient, Taylor did keep a drive alive in the second quarter by drawing an illegal use of hands penalty on third down. It's notable that rookie A.J. Brown already is working ahead of Taylor despite missing a significant portion of training camp with a leg injury. If Brown earns a regular spot alongside Corey Davis and Adam Humphries (leg) in three-wide formations, Taylor will be left to compete with Tajae Sharpe and Darius Jennings for a depth role.
