Tamme caught both of his targets for three yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' Week 4 game against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
In a game where QB Matt Ryan attempted a franchise-high amount of passes, one may have expected the Falcons' target leader (entering Week 4) to see a larger share of Ryan's attention. However, Tamme was largely an afterthought in the offense aside from his four-yard touchdown that counted as Atlanta's first score of the game. Meanwhile, rookie third-rounder Austin Hooper flashed on a 42-yard touchdown reception later on in the game and could be making a case for additional playing time. For now, though, Tamme appears set to remain the Falcons' primary receiving tight entering a Week 5 matchup against the Broncos.
