Carter (ankle) rushed eight times for 18 yards and caught one of two targets for two yards in Sunday's 31-24 loss to Miami.

Carter made his return after spending the previous three games on IR and split carries with Tevin Coleman, who gained 50 yards on his eight carries. The rookie looked tentative and tied his Week 1 career low with just 20 scrimmage yards, but Carter should shake off some of the rust in Week 16 against the Jaguars.
