Stills and the Dolphins are in negotiations over a new contract, Chris Perkins of the Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stills did not receive Miami's franchise or transition tag prior to this week's deadline, which has him set to enter free agency next week. Nonetheless, Dolphins coach Adam Gase has made it clear he wants Stills to remain with the team. Although the parties have engaged in talks over a new deal, Stills' projected $10-12 million annual salary could prove too big of a stumbling block in negotiations, leaving his future team uncertain for the time being.
