Spurlock was waived by the Bears on Tuesday. Spurlock saw action at receiver in Week 1 while both Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall missed parts of the Bears' loss to the Bills with injuries, notching one catch for eight yards on three targets. However, with both receivers now healthy and the Bears comfortable with Senorise Perry as their kick returner and Santonio Holmes as their punt returner, holding onto Spurlock wasn't a luxury the team could afford.
