Speaking Wednesday evening, Kyle Orton indicated that he fully intends to report to the Chiefs after they were awarded him on waivers. "Just wanted everybody to hear it from me first," Orton said. "I am happy to be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs. ... I am excited about the last few days and I am looking forward to getting to know my teammates with the Chiefs." ESPN's John Clayton reported early Wednesday that Orton might not report to K.C. because he wanted to be a Bear. It appears "The Professor"'s report was inaccurate, which we've noticed is becoming a recurring theme for Clayton. Orton will probably be the Chiefs' starting quarterback by Week 13.

p.s. - the moment it was orton's drop was announced, i turned to my friend, and said he's going to kansas city, and will fit best there. sometimes, it amazes me how bad some of these "professionals" are. i'm just another sports fan, and i seem to know far more than some of these idiots out there.

hey get off clayton man whoever writes these reviews has NO room to criticize other people..... whoever writes these is nothing short of an inbred, down syndrome, dyslexic resident of alabama (lowest public school rating in the nation) so go ahead keep sending your hate because everyone in fleaflicker knows that whoever wrote this has TO on their bench and peyton manning starting.

Bears should have gotten him! He was the reason the Bears made it to the playoffs in 2005!Grossman gets all of the credit but it was Orton leading the team that got them to the playoffs and Grossman that blew the Super Bowl game!

Good for him, the Chiefs and the league. Although the Broncos may have waived Orton to clear $2.5 million form the salary cap, it was still a very kind thing to do. Many teams were in need of a QB and this allowed Orton to become an active and hopefully intrigal part of the KC family.
