Sixth-round pick Alfred Blue is competing for the Texans' No. 2 running back job. Andre Brown remains the favorite to back up Arian Foster, but Blue would likely be part of a committee if Foster went down. Foster will be used in an every-down role provided he stays healthy. Even if Blue loses out, he should be a lock to make the 53-man roster. Dennis Johnson and Jonathan Grimes are the Texans' only other running backs.
