Sims (knee) will play in Sunday's regular season opener against the Vikings, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Sims entered Sunday's contest as questionable due to a knee issue, but after participating in Friday's practice, albeit in a limited capacity, Sims will suit up in Week 1. As he did last season, Sims figures to backup premier pass-rusher Robert Quinn at defensive end this year. Sims posted 27 tackles and two sacks during the 2013 campaign.
