McGill (ankle) signed to San Francisco's practice squad Tuesday.

McGill was released from the Vikings earlier in the 2022 season after landing on IR. Now that his ankle injury is healed, he will join the Niners' practice squad and look to make his season debut. During his 2021 season, McGill appeared in two games with Minnesota during which he recorded one tackle and one pass breakup.
