Snead will provide extra depth at receiver for Monday's matchup versus the Ravens as Juan Jennings (concussion) is out. Snead had already been elevated the maximum of three times from the practice squad, so San Francisco had to sign him to the active roster in order for the 31-year-old to be eligible to play.
