Reed stands at 5-foot-9, so he's been tested often by quarterbacks in camp. However, the 24-year-old has answered the call, showing his explosiveness and strength can make up for his smaller frame. Last season, Reed played 10 games (eight starts) and finished with 62 tackles (46 solo), seven pass breakups and two interceptions. Reed also served as the primary kick returner last season, averaging a team-best 27.4 yards per return. Ahkello Witherspoon is expected to win the left cornerback job.
