Seahawks waived TE Dominique Byrd. Byrd actually managed to make seven catches for 85 yards and a touchdown during the preseason, but wasn't going to see a meaningful amount of snaps behind Zach Miller and Anthony McCoy. He's appeared in just one game since the end of the 2007 season.
