Scobee connected on 2-of-4 field goals (36, 45) and 2-of-2 extra points in the Steelers' 23-20 overtime loss to Baltimore on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Scobee's two misses, from 41 and 49 yards, came on consecutive fourth quarter drives that would have forced the Ravens to score a touchdown, rather than the Justin Tucker field goal that sent the game to overtime. The misses also seemed to cause coach Mike Tomlin to lose faith in his kicker, opting to forego field goal attempts on two overtime possessions, both of which ended with failed fourth down attempts. Scobee is now 6-of-10 on field goal attempts and 6-of-7 on extra points. Even if the Steelers don't bring any other kickers in to compete for the job, Scobee is a risky fantasy play.
