Russell Wilson pointed to OC Darrell Bevell's expansion of the Seahawks' offense when explaining his late-season statistical surge.
Wilson was the No. 2 fantasy quarterback behind only Drew Brees over the final five regular season weeks. "My coaching staff just let it loose for me and just let me play the game and just continue to grow in terms of the playbook and everything," explained Wilson. Wilson isn't worried about NFL defenses "figuring out" the read option in 2013 because it's a relatively minor part of Seattle's playbook. "It's just a changeup for us," said Wilson. "We may run 15, maybe 20 percent, of our runs are the read-option plays."
