Rudolph underwent surgery following Week 3 to repair a sports hernia issue, but made his long-awaited return to practice Wednesday. Although Rudolph was limited to individual drills, the Vikings' current bye week will allow the tight end to gain some extra rest before Week 11. At that time, if Rudolph's condition continues to improve, he aims to be able to take the field versus the Bears.
