Rucker is the likely candidate to take over the starting spot vacated by stalwart defensive lineman Darnell Dockett (knee), the Cardinals' official site reports. Dockett suffered a season-ending ACL tear during Monday's practice, opening the door for Rucker and rookie Kareem Martin to handle the bulk of the remaining reps. Rucker garnered decent run in both 2011 and 2012, averaging 46 tackles and four sacks per season. However, in his first year with the Cardinals, he contributed 11 tackles (nine solo) and one sack. Expect the former rather than the latter to mimic his output heading into Week 1, though Martin could receive more snaps on clear passing downs as his rookie campaign wears on.
