Ripkowski showed no ill effects of the back injury he suffered in Week 3, and received the first carries of his career Sunday night. Given the Packers' other offensive options It's highly unlikely that Ripkowski's 8.5 yards per carry average will lead to more touches, but it does figure to give the Packers more confidence in using him if needed in future short-yardage situations
