Smith caught two of four targets for 32 yards and added 94 yards on four kickoff returns in Friday's preseason finale against the Eagles.

Smith hasn't stood out enough to guarantee himself a roster spot this preseason, but he also hasn't underwhelmed enough to take himself out of the running. His contributions on special teams are certainly a point in his favor, but Smith should either be among the last guys in or just miss the cut when the Jets unveil their 53-man roster ahead of the regular season.
