This move shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Richardson was expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering his second herniated disk of his career. The Packers have been ultra-safe with neck injuries in years past, having refused to clear Nick Collins and Jermichael Finley recently, so it's fair to question if we've seen the last of Richardson.
