Montez (illness) was restored to the Lions' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Montez was placed on the COVID list at the start of the week but was able to clear the protocols relatively quickly. The 24-year-old has yet to make his NLF debut since going undrafted out of Colorado in 2020.
