The Falcons released Tate on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tate was the early favorite to emerge as a roster lock from the Falcons plethora of WR additions this offseason, but he found himself with the second unit more often than not during training camp. The 2018 seventh-round pick caught 40 of 80 targets for 575 yards in 2019 with the Bengals, but he's yet to replicate that success since.
