Redskins SS Brandon Meriweather (ACL surgery) reiterated Tuesday that he is on schedule to be healthy by training camp. Meriweather injured his right knee numerous times in 2012, spraining multiple ligaments in the joint during preseason action, aggravating it twice, and then tearing the ACL in Week 11. The Redskins' free safety job is wide open for competition, but they are counting on Meriweather to be the strong safety starter.
