Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said the team doesn't yet know if Brandon Meriweather (knee, groin) will be available for Monday night's game against the Eagles. Meriweather spent the majority of training camp working his way back from ACL surgery and suffered a groin injury in the Redskins' fourth preseason game. He hasn't practiced at all this week and his availability is in question for Monday Night Football. The Redskins will start Reed Doughty at strong safety if Meriweather is ruled out.
