Willis (calf) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Kevin Hickey of USA Today reports.

Willis has been sidelined since Week 8 by the calf injury, but he's now been cleared to take the practice field. The 25-year-old will have a 21-day practice window during which he can be reinstated to the active roster, otherwise he'll revert to injured reserve for the rest of the campaign.
