Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Wednesday that Fatukasi has recovered from his ankle injury ahead of Sunday's season opener at Indianapolis, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

The big defensive tackle dealt with a lingering ankle injury at the end of the 2022 season, but he looks like he'll be fully cleared ahead of Week 1. Though he fills in important role along Jacksonville's defensive line as a run stuffer, he won't have enough opportunities to collect sacks or tackles to emerge as a useful IDP option.
