The good news is that Tartt is off the COVID-19 list, but that is overshadowed by his sudden toe injury. Injuries have become a theme during the 29-year-old's career, as he has been unable to play a full 16-game schedule in any of his first six seasons. It is unknown how long Tartt will be out, but when he returns he should be the 49ers' starter at strong safety.
